Super Nintendo game Animaniacs is a sidescrolling action adventure game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on November 10, 1992, and in the United States on December 5, 1992. The game is a port of the arcade game The Adventures of Super Mario World. The player controls a superhero named Luigi, with the help of several other characters, as they travel through a variety of levels, defeating villains and saving the day. The game's title refers to the character Luigi, who is the main protagonist of the game. Other characters in the game include Princess Toadstool, Wario, Baby Mario, and Mario Jr.
