Super Nintendo Ardy Lightfoot is an action-adventure game for the Super Nintendo. It was published by Bandai Namco Entertainment America and developed by FromSoftware. It was released in 1996 in Japan and in North America in 1997. It is the follow-up to the 1995 game Super Mario World. Ardy Lightfoot is a side-scrolling platformer game with a heavy emphasis on puzzle-solving. The player controls Ardy, a green-skinned, talking rabbit, as he makes his way through a series of levels, using his various abilities to solve puzzles and reach the end. These levels are based on classic video game levels, such as those from Super Mario World, but with added bonus levels and elements that are unique to the Ardy Lightfoot series. The game received mixed reviews from critics. However, it became a commercial success, and is considered one of the best games ever made for the Super Nintendo.
