D-Force is an action-adventure game for the Super Nintendo. It was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo. The game is a sequel to the popular Super Mario World game, and is a side-scrolling platformer. You play as one of eight characters: an alien, a human, a beast, a robot, a fairy, or a dragon. The game features a variety of different obstacles and enemies to contend with, as well as a variety of power-ups and weapons to use. D-Force is also the first game in the Super Nintendo series to feature a 3D effect. The game was released in 1992 in the United States and 1993 in Europe.
