Donkey Kong Country 2 is a platform game for the Super Nintendo. It was released in Europe on November 5, 1991. The game is a follow-up to the original Donkey Kong Country. It features the same characters and locations as the original game, but new levels and obstacles are added. Diddy Kong is back in his classic role as the protagonist of the game. He joins forces with other Kongs, including Dixie Kong, King Kong, and Baby Kong, to stop Dr. J from building a giant, evil Kong. The game offers a wide variety of play options, including co-operative multiplayer, versus play, and single-player mode.
