Super Nintendo game F1 Pole Position is a racing game that was released in Europe in 1992. The game is a sequel to the arcade game F1 Race, and is also the first game in the F1 series. The objective of the game is to race around a track in a racecar, trying to achieve the fastest time. The game features three different tracks, including the famous Monaco Grand Prix track. The races are divided into three laps, and the player can only use one car at a time. The player can choose to race in a time trial mode, or a race with a series of races. In the time trial mode, the player must race as fast as they can to complete the set amount of laps. The race with series of races is where the player can race against other players, or against the computer. The player can choose to race in any of the three races, or in the time trial mode. The game was ported to the Game Boy in 1995.
