Final Fantasy IV is a 1990 video game for the Super Nintendo. It is the fourth game in the main series, and is based on the role-playing game Final Fantasy III. It was released in Japan on November 15, 1990. The game is an action role-playing game with a story line similar to that of the earlier games in the series. The player controls one of six character classes: Fighter, Mage, Thief, Bowman, or Wizard. The game also features a variety of enemy types, as well as a new magic system.
