Final Fight 3 is an action-adventure video game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the third in the series and was released in Japan on December 14, 1991, and in the United States on December 21, 1991. The game is a sequel to the 1990s game Street Fighter II, and is the first game in the series to be published by Capcom. The game is a side-scrolling action-adventure game with elements of platforming and puzzle-solving. The player controls a character, either the protagonist Ryu or the female fighter Chun-Li, as they fight through a series of levels, defeating enemies and solving puzzles to progress. The game is set in the fictional city of New York, and is the first in the series to be set in a new continent. The player can choose between the two main characters, and the game features unlockable characters.
