Super Nintendo game Lion King, The is an action-adventure game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was published by Nintendo and released in Japan on October 6, 1992, and in North America on October 14, 1992. The game is a follow-up to the hit game Super Mario World, and is set in Africa. Players control Simba, the Lion King, as he tries to save his family from a group of hunters led by Mufasa. The game features several new features, including an overworld map with multiple exits, an overworld enemy list with unique enemies, and an A.I. character that can help Simba during his adventure.
