Super Nintendo game Mother 2 is an action platformer game developed and published by Nintendo. The game was released in Japan on December 16, 1992 and was the first game in the Mother series. It was later localized to other countries. The game is set in a world where the player controls the protagonist, Mother, as she scours the planet for food and allies to help her save the world from an alien threat. The game features an original soundtrack and graphics.
