Super Nintendo game: Ongaku Tsukuru Kanadeeru (Japan) is a role-playing game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was released in Japan in December 1992 and in North America in December 1993. It is the fifteenth game in the Ongaku Tsukuru Kanadeeru series and the first game in the series to be released in English. The game is a story-driven, open-world game set in a world of magical creatures, crystals, and swords. Players control Kanadeeru, a young girl who must journey through the game's world to save her family and friends from an evil empire. Along the way, Kanadeeru must use her magical abilities to defeat enemies, collect items, and solve puzzles. The game is based on the light novel series of the same name by Kouhei Umehara. The game was designed by Hiroshi Yamauchi and produced by Hitoshi Sakimoto. The game's soundtrack was composed by Yoko Shimomura. The game was met with generally positive reviews from critics. On release, it was the best-selling game in Japan and was released in North America and Europe.
