Super Nintendo game Plok is a platformer game developed by French game development company Ubisoft. It was released in France on October 3, 1990, and in the United States on November 17, 1990. The game is a side-scrolling action-adventure game, and tells the story of a boy named Plok who is trying to save his home from a group of evil aliens. The game features a unique map-based graphics style, and is one of the few Super Nintendo games to use the cartridge-based gamepad. Plok was met with critical acclaim when it was released, and remains one of the most popular Super Nintendo games to date. It has been remade several times, with the latest release being a mobile game for iOS and Android.
