The story of Prince of Persia begins with the events of the original game, which took place in the year 527 BC. In this sequel, the player takes on the role of the voice of the protagonist, Shahin, as he journeys through the kingdom of Persia to save the princess from her evil captors. Along the way, the player must use their sword, bow and arrow, and magic to defeat the evil forces that seek to take her away.
