Shin Megami Tensei II (Japan) is an action role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1994 and is the second game in the Shin Megami Tensei series. The game is set in the world of Japan in the year 20XX, and follows the story of a young man named Inoue who is called upon by the gods to save the world from an impending apocalypse. Along the way, Inoue must collect powerful demons and use them to defeat the evil beings that threaten the world. Shin Megami Tensei II is a well-known and well-loved game in Japan, and is considered to be one of the best RPGs ever created. It is available on both the Super Nintendo and the Gamecube systems.
