Super Mario RPG is a role-playing video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was developed by team of developers at HAL Laboratory, and published by Nintendo. The game is a reboot of the classic Super Mario RPG series, which began on the Game Boy Advance. It is the first game in the series to be released in Japan, and the only one to be released in that region. The game was released in Japan in November 1998, and in North America on November 16, 1998.
