Super Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back is an action-adventure game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was developed by Rare and published byNintendo. The game tells the story of Luke Skywalker, his friends Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader as they fight against the evil Empire. The game features an innovative control scheme which allows players to move the game's characters around with the left and right buttons, as well as the up and down arrow keys. Super Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back was released in America on November 17, 1995 and in Europe on November 18, 1995. It was a commercial success, selling over two million copies.
