Super Mario RPG: The Thousand Year Door is a role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Bandai Namco. It was released in Japan on October 21, 1992 and in the United States on November 17, 1992. It is the eighteenth game in the Super Mario RPG series. The player controls Mario, who, in this game, is a young boy who has to help Bowser take over the Mushroom Kingdom and defeat the evil King. The game features a variety of new and classic levels, as well as a new battle system.
