Super Nintendo game Syndicate is a top-down action-adventure game developed by FromSoftware and published by Nintendo. It was released in Europe on October 18, 1991, and in North America on November 15, 1991. The game is a remake of the Japanese game 'Super Mario World'. The player controls Mario, Luigi, and Wario as they navigate their way through a series of levels, avoiding obstacles and enemies along the way. The game features a variety of new and returning enemies, as well as a new level editor. Super Nintendo game Syndicate received positive reviews from critics. At aggregate review websites GameRankings and Metacritic, the game received an 85% and 76%, respectively.
