It is the second game in the Tecmo Super NBA Basketball series. The game is a single-player game and features a unique control system called the 'Pitfall' system. The 'Pitfall' system allows players to control their players by using the directional pad and the A and B buttons to move their players around the court. Players can also use the left and right buttons to 'throw' their players into the opposing team's basket. The game also features a '3-point line' and a 'basket' in the bottom right corner of the screen.
