Super Nintendo game Tenchi Souzou is an action-adventure game developed by side-project Namco Bandai and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is set in the fictional world of Tenchi Muyo, and revolves around the story of the Tenchi Mecha series' protagonist, Tenchi Muyo, and his friends, the OVA's protagonist Ayeka, and the alien alien race the Genbu. The game was designed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, who also designed the anime series, and was the first game in the Tenchi Muyo series to be developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game features an 8-bit graphics engine, and is set up as a two-dimensional side-scrolling game. The player controls Tenchi Muyo, Ayeka, and the Genbu as they explore the world, using their various weapons and abilities to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. The game also features a unique battle system, in which the player can control one or more characters at a time, and fight against other characters and enemies.
