Super Nintendo game 'Todd McFarlane's Spawn - The Video Game' is an action role-playing game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in Japan on November 3, 1991 and in North America on December 6, 1991. The game is a follow-up to the successful 'Spawn' movie game for the Genesis. The player takes on the role of Spawn, a Spawn-like character who is sent to Earth to stop the evil Spawn from taking over the world. The game features an innovative '3D' graphics style and is the first game in the 'Spawn' series to be released in Japan. The game also introduces the 'Spawn-like' character Spawns, who are used to defeat enemies and bosses.
