The game is a collaboration between PlatinumGames and FromSoftware, and is the first game in the Bayonetta series. The game tells the story of Bayonetta, a witch who has been turned into a vampire by a powerful sorcerer. Bayonetta must defeat her enemies in order to save the world from destruction. The game features a variety of weapons and abilities that players can use to defeat enemies, and features a co-operative multiplayer mode in which players can team up and defeat enemies together.
