Xbox 360 game Clannad is an anime-inspired role-playing game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the seventh game in the Clannad series, and a spin-off of the visual novel game Clannad: After Story. The game was announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment president Hideki Kamiya at the company's Media Event in Japan on October 4, 2009. The game was released for the Xbox 360 on November 15, 2009. The game tells the story of a group of high school students who are trying to save their home from demolition. The game is set in the town of Aso and follows the story of Tomoya, Yuki, Tomomi, Nagisa, and Kenji. The game has an anime-inspired visual style, and uses the Kinect motion-sensing system to control the game's characters.
