Deus Ex Human Revolution is a 2010 action-RPG video game developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix. It is the sequel to the 2009 game Deus Ex and the first game in the Deus Ex series to be released on the Xbox 360. The game is set in the year 2045, after the events of the original Deus Ex. The player controls the protagonist, Adam Jensen, as he tries to stop a secret government project that has caused the world to collapse. The game is set in a variety of locations, including the fictional city of Prague, the Arctic Circle, and a Chinese research station.
