Earth Defense Force 2025 is an upcoming video game for the Xbox 360. It is a game based on the popular real-time strategy game Earth Defense Force, released in Japan in 2009 and in North America in 2010. The game is set in the future and is a sequel to the 2009 game Earth Defense Force: The New World. The game is a co-operative multiplayer game where players control different factions of Earth Defense Forces in order to protect the planet from an alien threat. Players can also play singleplayer campaigns or side-quests in order to earn rewards. The game is set in three different worlds which players can explore. The game is expected to be released in late 2013.
