Resident Evil Code Veronica X is an upcoming video game for the Xbox 360. Developed by Capcom and published by Capcom, the game is a reboot of the Resident Evil series, following the events of Code Veronica X. It will be the eighth game in the Resident Evil series and the first to be released in 720p resolution. The game is set in the fictional Umbrella Corporation laboratory in the year 2022, and follows the story of Alice and the other scientists working at the lab. They are attacked by a team of zombies, and Alice must use her scientific skills to save the scientists and defeat the zombies.
