Superman Returns is an action-adventure game developed and published by Microsoft for the Xbox 360. It was announced at E3 2009, and is the follow-up to the 2009 game Superman: The Animated Series. The game is set in an updated and revised version of the Kryptonian city of Kandor, and features a new story mode. It is also the first game in the Microsoft Game Studios series. Superman Returns was met with mixed reviews upon release. While some praised the updated graphics and story, others felt that the game was too easy and unoriginal.
