Xbox game Showdown Legends of Wrestling is a professional wrestling video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco. It is a sequel to the 2010 video game Wrestlemania 29. The game is set within the fictional wrestling promotion the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) and was announced during Sony's PlayStation Media Showcase at the PlayStation Experience event in December 2018. The game is a sidescrolling action-RPG game with a wrestling-themed story. Players control a wrestler, who uses their moves and abilities to defeat opponents and improve their character. The wrestler can also team up with other wrestlers to take on opponents. The game was first announced during Sony's PlayStation Media Showcase at the PlayStation Experience event in December 2018. It was announced that the game would be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was released on December 15, 2018.
