Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 1 Island Thunder is an action-adventure game for the Xbox. The game is set in the fictional country of Costa Rica and pits the player against the Colombian drug cartel, the Medellín cartel, and the Costa Rican military in order to stop them from acquiring a new weapons factory. The game introduces a new game mode, 'multi-player online battle arena' (MOBAs), which allows players to team up and fight against other players in a game of deathmatch. The game also features a new co-operative multiplayer mode, 'Team Deathmatch'.
