Generator Rex: Agent of Providence (USA) (Japanese: Generator Rex: Providence's Agent) is an action-adventure video game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the Nintendo 3DS. It is based on the Cartoon Network animated television series Generator Rex. The game follows Rex, a teenager with the ability to create and control machines known as nanites, as he battles an evil organization known as the Consortium. Players take control of Rex as he fights his way through levels filled with enemies, puzzles and platforming elements. The game features an array of weapons and gadgets, as well as an upgrade system that allows players to customize Rex's abilities. The game also features a co-op mode, allowing two players to team up and take on the challenge of the game together.
