Banjo-Tooie (Japanese title: バンジョーとツーイー) is a platform video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 game console. It is the sequel to the popular Banjo-Kazooie and was released in Australia in 2000. The game follows the adventures of the bear, Banjo, and his bird companion, Kazooie, as they attempt to stop the evil witch Gruntilda from taking over the world. Players must explore various levels and collect items in order to progress. The game features several new characters and locations, as well as improved graphics and sound. Banjo-Tooie also introduces several new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to control multiple characters and the use of special moves. The game features a variety of minigames and puzzles, as well as a two-player cooperative mode. Banjo-Tooie is considered one of the best games released for the Nintendo 64 and has been praised for its graphics, sound, and gameplay.
