Players can race against computer-controlled opponents or against up to four players via the Nintendo 64's four-player adapter. The game also features a death race mode, where players must complete a track as quickly as possible while avoiding the other racers. F-Zero X features a wide variety of game modes, including a practice mode, a time attack mode, and a tournament mode. The game also features an innovative track editor, allowing players to create their own custom tracks. F-Zero X is a fast-paced, thrilling racing game that is sure to keep players on the edge of their seats.
