Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (USA) (Beta), known in Japan as ゼルダの伝説時のオカリナ (Zeruda no Densetsu: Toki no Okarina), is a critically acclaimed action-adventure game released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998. It is the fifth installment in The Legend of Zelda series and the first to feature 3D graphics. The story follows the young hero Link as he embarks on a quest to save the kingdom of Hyrule from the evil Ganondorf. Along the way, Link must use the Ocarina of Time to travel between the past and the future to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and find the seven Spiritual Stones needed to open the Door of Time. The game features a large open world to explore, as well as a variety of weapons and items to collect. The game was praised for its revolutionary 3D graphics and immersive story, and it is often cited as one of the greatest video games of all time.
