Ogre Battle 64 - Person of Lordly Caliber (USA, Europe) (Rev 1) (Wii Virtual Console) (Japanese: オウガバトル64 Person of Lordly Caliber) is a tactical role-playing game developed by Quest and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. The game is the sequel to Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen and is set in the same world as its predecessor. The player takes control of Magnus Gallant, a young knight of the Palatinean Army, and leads him on a quest to liberate the kingdom of Palatinus from the oppressive rule of the Zetegenian Empire. The game is divided into two parts: a strategic map and a battle map. On the strategic map, the player moves their army around the map, recruiting new units and engaging in battles with the enemy. On the battle map, the player commands their army in real-time tactical battles, using various spells, abilities and items to defeat the enemy. The game features multiple endings, depending on the choices made by the player throughout the game.
