StarCraft 64 (スタークラフト64) is a real-time strategy game developed by Blizzard Entertainment and released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. The game is a port of the popular PC version of StarCraft, and features a similar story and gameplay. Players take control of one of three races - the Terrans, the Zerg, and the Protoss - and must build up a base, gather resources, and train an army in order to take on their opponents. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes, with the latter allowing up to four players to compete against each other. StarCraft 64 also features a number of new features, such as improved graphics, new units and buildings, and an improved user interface. The game was well-received by critics and fans alike, and is still considered to be one of the best real-time strategy games on the Nintendo 64.
