Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters (グリーンランタン：マンハンターの起動, Guriin Rantan: Manhantaa no Kidou) is a 3D action-adventure game for the Nintendo DS platform developed by Griptonite Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game is based on the 2011 motion picture of the same name, and follows the story of the Green Lantern Corps' battle against the Manhunters, an ancient race of robotic warriors. Players take control of Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of Sector 2814, as he battles against the Manhunters and their leader, Atrocitus. The game features a variety of levels and environments, including the planet Oa, the home of the Guardians of the Universe, and the Manhunter homeworld of Biot. Players can use Hal Jordan's power ring to create constructs and use various abilities to battle enemies and solve puzzles. Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters features a variety of gameplay styles, including third-person action and platforming. Players can also customize their power ring with various upgrades and abilities, such as the ability to construct force fields and fly. The game also features an online multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to battle against each other in a variety of arenas.
