NIPPON SHUZAN RENMEI KANSHUU is a new game on the
Nintendo DS. It’s a puzzle game with aulpth-looking image of a man, with the title screen providing a glimpse into its world. You are the man, and your mission is to guide the image of the man on the screen to the end of the screen, without taking any damage. It’s a delicate task, and there are many difficult levels to be faced. But once the man is in reach, you can take him to the next screen, or continue playing the existing game. There are also many various options, including ones that can allow you to progress in the game without the man being in reach, or just the first level. The game is set in a future where the world has been turned into a computer-generated isle, and it’s all down to your game’s’ result. The allure of the game is its access to up to eight players, with them able to cooperate in order to defeat the man on the screen. The game is set to aagra-like events, and as such there is quite a bit of non-linearity to it. You could play the game as someone else, or have multiple players do the same things, but I decided to try and see how it played out. The controls are pretty intuitive, and you can even start the game with few attempts an have fun playing it as long as you want. There is a net-like system where things can come down, and this has been used in the past, so it doesn’t completely impact the game.
