In Pac-Man World, the player assumes the role of a young, struggling player who must traverse through many different pockets in order to catch the so-called ' Newsweek ' which is the perfect target for the evil, lovable, and very intelligent Pac-Man. The player's only hope is to keep up with the newsreader's strategy game standards, while also trying to survive the various levels that give rise to Pac-Man's 'bullet points.' With the help of a variety of characters including his wife and 2 younger brothers, the player attempts to become the first ever 'Winny' and win the 'Eagle' trophy.
