Aero the Acro-Bat 2 is a side-scrolling action game for the Sega Genesis. It was published by Sega Europe and was released in 1990. The game is based on the character of the same name from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Aerospace entrepreneur Dr. Sonic must help his young nephew, Tails, defeat evil robots in order to save the world from a cataclysmic event. Along the way, Sonic must use his acrobatics and flying skills to complete challenges and dodge obstacles. Aerosoft created the game with the input of Sonic the Hedgehog creator Yu Suzuki. The game was ported to the Nintendo DS in 2008.
