Pier Solar and the Great Architects is an 8-bit platformer game released in 1989 for the Sega Genesis. It is a sequel to the successful game Sonic the Hedgehog and features the same protagonist, Sonic, as well as new enemies and levels. The game was designed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, who also designed Sonic Adventure and Sonic Unleashed.
