Sega Sports 1 is a sports game for the Sega Genesis. It was published by Sega in Europe in 1989. The game is a sequel to the successful Sega Sports 2. It features a revised gameplay engine and is the first game in the series to use 3D graphics. The game also introduces the now familiar 'Pit' game mode.
