Shadow of the Beast is an action-adventure game developed by Sega for the Genesis console. It was published by Electronic Arts. The story follows a young girl named Alice who, after being kidnapped by the Beast, is forced to venture into the dark world of the Beast's castle. Along the way, Alice must use her quick reflexes and powerful attacks to survive and ultimately defeat the Beast. The game was critically acclaimed and became one of the company's most successful products. It was ported to other platforms, including the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, and Xbox.
