Super Mario World is a platform game developed by Super Mario World creator Miyamoto and published by Nintendo in 1994. It is the fifteenth installment in the Super Mario series and the first game in the Super Mario World series to be released in Europe. The game is a side-scrolling action game with elements of platforming and puzzle-solving. Players travel through a Mushroom Kingdom, as well as other Mushroom-related areas, playing as various characters from the Mario series. In order to complete the game, players must navigate through obstacles and complete challenges in order to reach the end. The game features a wide variety of enemies and obstacles, as well as a variety of levels.
