Beijing 2008 is a live action, action-adventure video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360. It is the sequel to the 2010 video game, God of War, and the eighth game in the popular action-adventure series. The game was announced at E3 2009, and is set in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Players take control of the protagonist, Kratos, as he participates in the Beijing Olympics through a variety of singleplayer and multiplayer modes. The game is set in the city of Beijing, and players can explore the city and its surroundings in search of gold and other treasures. The game also features a number of new features, such as a more action-packed multiplayer mode and a new fighting style called 'The Athena Way'.
