Vigilante 8 - 2nd Offense (Europe) (Japanese title: ヴィジランテ8 2nd オフェンス) is a vehicular combat game developed by Luxoflux and published by Activision for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. It is the sequel to the 1998 game Vigilante 8. The game takes place in an alternate timeline in which the United States is in the middle of an oil crisis. The player takes control of one of eight vigilantes, each with their own unique vehicle, and must battle their way through levels set in various locations across the United States. The game features a variety of weapons, from machine guns to missiles, as well as power-ups and special moves. Players can also customize their vehicles with paint jobs, decals, and accessories.
